Abdul Kalam On the occasion of his birthday on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid homage to the late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and lauded his “invaluable contribution to nation-building.”

Anniversary Abdul Kalam Birth:

Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam was born on October 15, 1931, in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, and grew up in a lowly family. Even as a young child, he sold newspapers to help support his family. He sought a degree in aeronautical engineering at the Madras Institute of Technology since he had a passion for aircraft. He overcame obstacles and went on to make a substantial contribution to the disciplines of rocket and missile technology, inspiring numerous people throughout his life.

He thought that educators are crucial in forming students’ personalities, establishing moral principles, advancing their technological proficiency, and raising their self-confidence as they become ready for the competitive future.

World Students’ Day is observed annually on October 15 to honour Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s outstanding contributions to education. Today is celebrated as Dr. Kalam’s 92nd birthday. He was a brilliant scientist, author, and thinker. As India’s Missile Man, he was praised.

He wrote in his autobiography, “Wings of Fire: An Autobiography,” that he had dreamed of piloting an aeroplane since he was a young boy, watching it soar ever higher. His preferred fantasy was to go to the stratosphere.

Unfortunately, he was only able to obtain the ninth place out of 25 applicants, leaving him without the chance to realise his ambition of becoming a pilot

From being known as “India’s Missile Man” to his work as an aeronautical scientist and subsequently as a teacher who put his pupils first, Kalam accomplished a lot in his lifetime.
